Volunteer groups needed to man stalls for town show

The council is inviting local voluntary organisations to set up a stall at the 14th annual Town Show and Family Fun Day on Saturday, September 9.

The event celebrates the community by showcasing the groups and individuals that make the town a wonderful place to live and visit.

In addition to stage performances and the popular Horticultural & Craft Show there is the Community Marquee.

The big tent contains more than 50 interactive stands all by local voluntary groups and service providers.

This is where volunteers can get involved and represent their organisation.

There are both indoor and outdoor pitches available, all for free.

A council spokesman said: “Judging by the total amount of combined fundraising last year, it does not matter where your stand to be successful.

“If you would like to have a stall at this fantastic event simply fill in a form online at littlehampton-tc.gov.uk by Friday 26 th May 2017.”
