VOTE 2010: Keep track of the candidates online

IT HAS never been easier to find out about political parties, policies and candidates standing for election, thanks to the internet.

Many of the candidates standing in West Sussex have taken advantage of the internet to reach out to the electorate.

The web can also help people decide which way to vote.

The website Vote for Policies presents visitors with a selection of policies and the chance to pick the ones they agree with.

At the end it advises which party to vote for based on your answers.

National organisation The Straight Choice is opening up the world of political canvassing by asking people to upload photographs or scans of election leaflets to its website www.thestraightchoice.org to compare how candidates target different areas of their constituency.

Click on the name of each constituency to see uploaded leaflets uploaded for Worthing West, East Worthing and Shoreham, Arundel and South Downs, and Littlehampton and Bognor seats.

Follow Twitter comments from candidates around the UK with our General Election 2010 map. This map will also show live results on May 6.
