Cllr Gillian Brown, the leader of Arun District Council said it was another step towards improving the town.

“There is a lot of work to be done, but this is an exciting project and another small step towards improving the town.”

Loosemarbles is run by creative couple Abby Wilkinson and Will Harvey.

The pair, who live in Felpham, have already showcased some interesting designs for the town.

Their suggestions to revive the town using flair and colour have been previously published in the Observer.

As part of their new mission Abby and Will will be speaking to local groups and elected members when creating their designs.

This information will then be used to identify key messages and themes, create a logo, strapline and colour palette.

Both Abby and Will have said they want to encourage people to come to the town with a range of original ideas. More information on the branding will be announced in two further stages. Firstly, following a stakeholders’ workshop meeting and then once detailed concepts have been worked up.
