Waldron

REMEMBRANCE: On Armistice Day (Friday November 11), there were 110 attendees at the service at St Bartholomew's. Two days later the parish's Remembrance Sunday service began at 10.45 am so that the names of the village's men who died in two World Wars could be read before the two minutes' silence at 11am. Afterwards the congregation gathered at the War Memorial for the laying of wreaths (at midday). Once again there was a substantial congregation for this solemn service.
