WELCOME SUN: This past week it's suddenly spring, at last. It feels as if we've all been walking round under a black cloud for weeks but with daffs out, primroses starring the roadside banks and even some catkins shaking their tails, not to mention some very busy birds ferreting around in my big laurel hedge, it's all good news.

EASTER: The festival is early this year and Easter Week begins this Sunday with the Palm Sunday procession through the village. Starting from the Lucas Hall at 10am, the choir will lead the procession to All Saints’ Church, carrying green branches. Join the procession if you would like to or wait at church for its arrival. The service of palms will be part of Matins and will include the interactive gospel reading. If you have any Easter eggs to offer for Family Support Work, please bring them along to hand in.

MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY: There will be Compline each evening during Holy Week at St Bartholomew’s starting at 7.30pm.

MAUNDY THURSDAY: Starting at6.30pm at All Saints’ there will be Haggada Supper and Holy Communion.

GOOD FRIDAY: At 11am there will be a Walk of Witness from Union Church Heathfield, followed by an Hour’s Devotion at St Bartholomew’s at noon. There will be a walk from St Bart’s starting at 1pm to All Saints’ followed by an Hour Devotion there at 2pm.
