Waldron

THANK YOU: I had a road traffic accident last week which reminded me that I'm getting too old to perform gymnastics, in or out of my car. Turning upside down is really no longer an option although the Yogic breathing did help while I was waiting to be cut out of my little car. However, what I really wanted to say was a huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been in touch, sent me cards, dropped in, offered help with shopping and generally been brilliant. Waldron is marvellous.

DIRECTORY: I’ve just had a peep at the copy for the Waldron Directory and it’s looking good. Not yet printed, but it’s full of useful information. Watch this space for more news. Maura Fanshawe has done a terrific job and has had enough sponsorship offers to cover the cost and even some colour illustrations.

DAY OF PRAYER: The Women’s World Day of Prayer is planned for Friday March 4 and the local service will be at the Holy Cross Chapel, Holy Cross at 10.30am. Everyone is welcome. More information next week.
