Walking for school funds
Sponsored walks took place to boost the funds of two schools in the Uckfield area on Friday. All the children at St Philip's Catholic Primary in Uckfield (pictured) and at Bonners School, Maresfield, were involved.
Sponsored walks took place to boost the funds of two schools in the Uckfield area on Friday. All the children at St Philip's Catholic Primary in Uckfield (pictured) and at Bonners School, Maresfield, were involved.
Headteachers of both schools, Dr Steve Austin at St Philip's and Mrs Marion Ponting at Bonners, were delighted with the support they received from staff, the children's families and friends. The total raised is not yet known. At St Philip's children lapped the school playing field and the football ground in front of Boothland Wood, and at Bonners they lapped the school field.
