Spring Season Tea Dances, Winter Garden, Eastbourne, Tuesdays February 7, March 20, April 3 and 24, May 8 and 22
THE Tea Dances, a favourite fixture at the Winter Garden, Eastbourne return this spring with ever popular music man and entertainer Chris Mannion and a selection of other fantastic organists at the keys!
Chris provides the live music for most of the spring dates, which will be great news for his many fans who enjoy not only his musical abilities but also the banter which he shares with the audience between melodies.
Dancers however are sure to enjoy the music of Chris Stanbury on 7 February and Andy Jackson on 20 March who step in for Chris for these two dates.
The Floral Hall, where all Tea Dances are held, is a venue that is steeped in rich history and also features the largest dance floor in the town; making it the perfect place to dance to the music of days gone by.
These events are always popular and it’s a great way to keep fit and meet new people, and it doesn’t matter if you are more of a Nancy Dell’Olio than an Anton Du Beke on the dance floor! These afternoons are about meeting friends old and new, having fun and keeping active, so come and waltz away the afternoon and put a spring in your step!
Eastbourne resident Chris has been connected with live music in the town since the 1970’s, he first became associated with the Winter Garden Tea Dances in the 1990’s, but Chris also plays regularly at clubs and hotels in the region. He has built up a large and loyal fan base, if you haven’t yet heard Chris play live come and find out why so many enjoy his musical magic!
