Warning over 4x4 thieves

POLICE are appealing for people in Uckfield who own Ford Transits or 4x4 vehicles to be aware of a spate of thefts in the last week.

Three 4x4 vehicles and three Ford Transits have been stolen in and around Uckfield. Offenders attempted to steal a fourth Ford Transit but were unsuccessful. A police spokesman said: 'We would advise people to keep an eye on their vehicles and also look out for any suspicious-looking individuals.
