Wear It Pink on October 30

It's time to wear it pink - it's time to beat breast cancer.

Friday October 30 is the day when people all over Britain wear pink to support the 2009 breast cancer campaign and raise funds for vital ground-breaking research.

They will be going into their schools, offices, shops, businesses and clubs wearing pink outfits for the day and raising funds by donating 2 each to take part.

The message is to spread the word and make sure everyone knows that Wear It Pink is happening on Friday October 30, then put up posters, and display a 2 donation box in a prominent place.

If you find there's anything you need to know simply visit wearitpink.co.uk to download or order items to help make sure the day is a big success - while there you'll also find fun ideas for making the day as pink as possible.

Gift Aid is a great way to give donations a real boost - for ever 1 collected the taxman will give the campaign an extra 28 pence, so it helps to make sure everyone completes the Gift Aid form provided.

On the day itself, anything goes - eat pink cake and drink pink smoothies, hold pink raffles or go all out with a pink fashion show...just make sure everyone pops their 2 in your collection box.
