Cabinet member for tourism at Eastbourne Borough Council Councillor Margaret Bannister said, “After a year to forget, I’m delighted that all the signs point to more sunshine and cloudless skies in Eastbourne.

“When you combine stunning weather and an environment that is second to none, it’s easy to see why our town is a staycation mecca for millions of people every year.

“And best of all we’ll be ready to give holidaymakers the summer break they so richly deserve.”
