Heavy rain forecast for much of Sussex tomorrow

Heavy rain across Sussex could cause problems for commuters tomorrow morning (Wednesday October 28).

The Met Office forecast is for a bank of cloud to move across the county during the next 36 hours.

Light rain is expected in the early evening but heavier falls are due first thing tomorrow.

These may be less extreme the further west you are in the county.

However, many areas are forecast to have several hours of heavy rain, creating potential problems with surface water.
