More gusting winds and rain on the way

As West Sussex recovers from fallen trees, flooded roads and disruption on road and rail the news is - there’s more gusting winds and rain due on Friday (December 27).

The Met Office currently has a yellow warning for strong winds, gusting up to 50mph.

The Christmas Day forecast is for light showers all day.

Boxing Day is likely to be dry with even some sunny intervals in the early afternoon.

However, another storm front will move in during early Friday with the wind picking up and a mixture of light and heavy showers all day.

The wind will continue on Saturday until the early evening, although the forecast is for less rain.
