Sussex weather forecast for Friday, October 23

The Met Office says we can expect a bright start with perhaps a few showers around at first.

However, it says, a band of cloud and rain will move eastwards during the afternoon, weakening as it does so.

Rain will clear to leave a drier end to the day, the Met Office says, but it will feel breezy.

The maximum temperature forecast is 16 degrees Celsius.

By tonight, the Met Office says any lingering cloud in the east will clear to leave a dry night, with clear spells for most.

Winds will pick up towards dawn, according to the Met Office, and it will feel cool.

The minimum temperature is seven degrees Celsius.
