UPDATE: Snow and ice cause problems on roads in Horsham district

Ice and snow has caused problems for drivers across the Horsham district this morning (Monday March 11).

There is heavy traffic on the M23 around the Pease Pottage junction up to Crawley because of snow.

There are hazardous driving conditions and very slow traffic on the A23 northbound between Bolney Cross in Bolney and the M23 junction in Pease Pottage, because of ice.

There is also very slow traffic on the B2110 Handcross Road eastbound in Lower Beeding between the B2115 Sandygate Lane junction and the B2114 Brighton Road junction, because of snow.

Traffic is slow and conditions are difficult on the A264 eastbound in Horsham between Moorhead Roundabout and Bewbush Manor Roundabout, because of ice.

There is very slow traffic on the B2110 Handcross Road eastbound in Lower Beeding between the B2115 Sandygate Lane junction and the B2114 Brighton Road junction, because of snow.
