Video: flooding update for Horsham district

The flooded A29 London Road in Pulborough has been re-opened this afternoon (Sunday January 19)

It was shut in both directions at the end of last week following heavy rain .

However, some road remain partially or completely blocked due to floodwater.

These include the A272 New Bridge in Billingshurst which is closed in both directions between the Rowner Road junction and the B2133 Newpound junction.

The A24 is just passable on A24 Dorking Road in Kingsfold before the Marches Road junction.

There is also flooding on the A24 in Broadbridge Heath at Broadbridge Heath Roundabout.

On the railway, the line between Horsham amnd Dorking has a limited service at peak times.

Our video shows some of the problems caused by flooding on Friday in the Horsham district.

The forecast for the next few days is for sunny intervals with rain returning on Wednesday.
