If you are feeling slightly under the weather at the end of a long winter, then a wellbeing event at the Crowborough Community Centre from 10am to 4pm on Saturday March 21 could be the pick-me-up that you need.
Organised by local complementary therapists Thea Smithers, Gill Stringer and Vanessa Hebbard, it is organised for people from the town and nearby area. They say there is a considerable interest in these types of therapies and they hope to help people understand what is on offer and what treatments can achieve.
Thea said: “You can come and see us, talk to us and ask questions about what we do and whether one of the therapies would benefit you. The day will feature short talks and taster treatments. Perhaps you will discover a new route to your future wellbeing?”
She points out there will be a huge variety of therapies on offer including reflexology, homeopathy, iridology, nutrition, osteopathy, chiropractors, acupuncture, hypnotherapy, pilates, Bowen therapy and help with dyslexia. There will also be some other exhibitors including a local choir, belly dancing, fitness instructors, jewellery, chocolates and rock salt lamps.
Entrance is £3 and taster treatments will be available from £5.
Therapists are raising funds for the Pickering Cancer Drop In Centre in Tunbridge Wells by holding a raffle with prizes donated from all the stallholders involved. Information: 07860421746.
