Wellies and Wristbands for Girlguiding festivalgoers at exclusive Foxlease event

GUIDES from Selsey and Chichester enjoyed four days of activities at a special girl only festival exclusively for Girlguiding members.

At the event, which was named Wellies and Wristbands, the Guides took part in expert football training and enjoyed entertainment from top pop quarter Only the Young.

12 members of 1st Selsey Guides travelled to the festival by train and bus, while the Chichester girls travelled by car to Foxlease in Hampshire.

They joined more than 2,000 Girlguiding festivalgoers.

Keira, 11, said: “I’d never been to a festival before, it was all so exciting. I had a brilliant fun weekend. I got the chance to try out some new activities. The FA football skills session was amazing.”
