Westfield lights up at Christmas
Once again this year the residents of Westfield have decorated around 30 of their houses with wonderful decorations and fantastic Christmas lights. The Sussex homes are raising funds for St Michaels Hospice and their festive displays have raised more than £35,000 over the past few years.
The magnificent lights were switched on this Thursday and the village has been transformed into a wonderful seasonal display of colour and sparkles.
St Michael’s Hospice Fundraising Team Leader Marcia Dart, said: “The Westfield lights never fail to attract hundreds of spectators from Hastings and Rother. The Hospice is extremely lucky to have the support of Westfield each year; we really are extremely grateful to everyone involved. If you visit the lights this year please don’t forget to put your donations in the Hospice buckets”.
The lights will be on display until 11pm on 5th January.
