GOOD COMPANIONS: Members of The Good Companions enjoyed a lunch at The Royal Oak, Whatlington last week. Maria gave the group a choice of three main courses and three desserts to choose from, which was followed by tea/coffee. I enjoyed a pork roast dinner as did others and some enjoyed the beef stew with potatoes & vegetables. The lemon tart decorated with Kentish Strawberries was delicious.....thank you to Maria and her staff.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 20th July when we will be visiting Jempson`s Tea Rooms for Cream Teas. If you would like any information on The Good Companions, which meet once a month for social outings, please contact Hilda on 01634 032135.
