The dangerous tree in the churchyard has now been felled and we have arrangements made for the long grass in the churchyard to be brought under control. Areas to the south and west of the church where wild flowers are growing will be left until later in the year to allow an area for wildlife - and for the enjoyment of the Ox Eye daisies and other wild flowers.

By the time you read this works will also be under way to improve the drainage around the building at the west end. Damp proof courses were unknown to the medieval builders and we have had some problems due to damp rising in the stone walls in this area.
