Whatlington

Church News: Whatlington church services for the coming Holy Week are as follows: Sunday 29th March, Palm Sunday, the service will be at 09.30, then on Good Friday we have our usual service of Good Friday Reflections at 5pm. This is a short service comprising hymns and readings appropriate to the day on which Jesus was crucified. On Easter Sunday our service will be a communion at 09.30am, followed by light refreshments after the service.

Looking further ahead, a date for the diary is Sunday April 26th, when we have a special Evensong to celebrate St. Georges Day. This will be at 5pm and in place of the usual morning service. After the service people are invited to join us for a glass of wine and some nibbles.

Parking, as usual will be available at the nearby village hall.

Reminder: Don’t forget that the clocks go forward one hour this Sunday, March 29th!
