Hilda Aplin writes: I am delighted to tell you that the Church Appeal fund has now risen to £40249.60 This week we have received a generous donation of £2500.00, which included a donation of £500.00 towards the new pews .Many thanks to the people who made this kind donation.

We have yet to balance off and transfer the profit from the evening with Charles Moore, when he spoke about his book on the late Margaret Thatcher. We are waiting to pay for the books that we sold on that evening but the total profit made is over £900.00. When we pay for the books the balance of monies will then be transferred to the Appeal Fund and I will then give you an updated balance.
