This can be sent anytime and I would appreciate any news that can be added into this column to help get the information to the residents of the Parish. Apologies for the repeat from last week but I think it is important to get the communication channels correct. Once again Major birthdays and wedding anniversaries for those who wish to publish would be welcome so we can share the milestone with you.

Parish Church service (Holy Communion) for Sunday 6th May is 8.30 AM at the village hall.

Come for a “Hands On Experience” at The Royal Oak on Saturday 26th May when local Master Palmist Robin Lown holds an entertaining evening of Palm Reading and psychic insight! Robin is a highly acclaimed expert in his field and it is rare that he performs so close to home as when he’s not at the College of Psychic Studies in London he’s performing all over the country. Tickets for this event are just £10 each but places are very limited, so if you would like to come along, please call Alex on 01424 870492 - you never know what you might learn!

A healthy rivalry is developing at The Royal Oak weekly pub quiz - come along on Thursdays at 8pm if you would like to join in the fun! Entry is just £1 per person for teams of up to six and the winning team has a chance to win the jackpot!

We have finally put the dart board up at The Royal Oak, so dust off your arrows and come along for a game sometime?!
