Where to recycle your Christmas tree in Brighton and Hove

Residents of Brighton and Hove will be able to recycle their Christmas trees when the festive season is over from January 2.

Brighton and Hove City Council will open a number of Christmas tree recycling points which will be open until Saturday, January 14.

The Brighton sites can be found at: Upper Bevendean Avenue; Dyke Road; Wilson Avenue; Ditchling Road; Ladies Mile Road; Mackie Avenue/Plainfields Avenue; Montpelier Crescent; Preston Park; The Level, Union Road; Upper Bedford Street; and Wyevale Garden Centre, Race Hill.

In Hove there will be recycling sites at: Brunswick Square; Hangleton Park; Hove Museum; Hove Park; St Ann’s Well Gardens; Wish Park Recreation Ground.

There will be two points in Portslade, at Easthill Park at the Millcross Road entrance, and at the Victoria Recreation Ground at the Victoria Road entrance.

In Saltdean there will be a point at Saltdean Lido, in the car park to left hand side of recycling point, and in Woodingdean there will be points at Central Park, Lockwood Crescent and Happy Valley Car Park, Falmer Road.
