Whiskey the bunny is a national treasure
Whiskey amazed judges with her story of bravery and friendship, and overcoming disability.
She was born with a balance problem and has a weak body which is especially vulnerable in cold weather. She came close to death twice last winter.

Hide AdAs the runt of the litter, Whiskey's vet has nicknamed her Bitsa - saying she was last in line when the other five rabbits of her litter were handed out healthy bodies, and she got the bits that were left.
But she has battled on and with owner Sue Horsman, of Buxton Drive, has become a vital member of the Cuddle Bunny division of the Canine Concern team.
They visit four nursing homes on a regular basis, along with four other rabbits belonging to Sue.
All the bunnies are insured and one even visits the rehab unit of the Conquest hospital.

Apart from the title of runner-up Supa Bunny of the Year 2002, Whiskey has won a supply of rabbit food from competition organisers, Burgess Supafeeds.
