This year, the group is helping The Arun Dolphins Swimming Club. It is a weekly swimming club for adults with disabilities and special needs held at Littlehampton swimming pool.

The event involves jumping from the Red Footbridge across the River Arun.

Sponsored leapers in fancy dress, leap into to the chilly waters and quickly pick up by our recovery boats and taken to the pontoons by the Arun View in.

Here, the jumpers can change and have free hot soup in the front bar. The staff and customers often help by joining in the event.

A grand raffle is then held in the pub.

Last year’s event raised around £3,500, which was higher than usual. It was shared between TS Implacable and St Barnabas House hospice.
