OPEN HOUSE: At Sunrise, Upper Kings Drive, tomorrow, Saturday, from 10am to 4pm.

Come and look around our beautiful buildings and garden.

CHARITY COFFEE MORNING: On Thursday at the British Queen, The Triangle, Lower Willingdon and on the second Thursday of each month. Raffle and books for a local charity.

Tea or coffee and cakes are £1.50. Open from 10am to noon.

JEVINGTON AND FILCHING WI: Next meet on Thursday at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue when our speaker is Ken Polock on a Tribute to Stanley Holloway.

WILLINGDON WI: Our President Jacaqui Easterbrook welcomed 32 members and four visitors to our January meeting. Our Christmas party in December had been great fun and we donated £45.68 to St Wilfrids Hospice.

Votes on the resolutions were taken and news of future events and finance were read.

We shall be visiting Amberley Transport Museum on June 14. After tea we were entertained by Linda Carpenter on her guitar .Linda has a lovely voice and sang a wide variety of songs that were thoroughly enjoyed by us all our next meeting is on Thursday February 9 held at the Memorial Hall, Church Street, and on the second Thursday of each month.

Our speaker is Ann Chance, Saddle Sore in Montana. Visitors welcome meeting starts at 2.15pm.

TRIANGLE LACE CLUB: Next meet on Saturday February 11.

We are a friendly group of folks who like all forms of bobbin and lace making. We meet at Trinity Church Hall, Coppice Avenue, from 10am to 2pm.

Cost including refreshments, raffle and insurance is £5.

Other attractions include a trade stall, selling lace supplies and equipment plus guidance in the art of lace making.

LIFESTYLE: Meetings held in the Memorial Hall, Church Street on the third Thursday of the month at 2.15pm.

Next meeting is on February 17 when our speaker is Ms P Jacobs Champion Chanzige.
