The Mobile Library will be in Sea Road on Wednesday 30th May as from 11.55 to 12.30 pm.

The fortnightly Bingo evening will next be on Wednesday 30th May. This will be at the usual time of 7.15 for 7.30 pm in the Community Hall.

A Diamond Jubilee Disco for the “young at heart” that has mostly 60’s music will be in the Community Hall on Saturday 2nd June, 8.30 till 11 pm. The dress theme is red, white and blue (though not essential) and the evening is a fun get-together welcoming local residents, families and friends. Tickets are £10 per person and include a fish and chip supper; you will need to bring your own drinks and glasses. A raffle with good prizes is also available. The number to ring is 224820 to purchase tickets.

On Sunday 3rd June from 9.20 am the Rye Triathlon will be staged from Harbour Field. There will be a 1500 metre sea swim, a 43 kilometre cycle ride through the Parish, a 10 kilometre run and a shorter sprint event. If you are coming along to watch it will start from the sea end of Harbour field. The Triathlon is sponsored by the George Hotel, Rye and the proceeds will go to charity.
