Winchelsea Beach village voice - April 6

Today Good Friday there is a service of Meditation in St Richard’s Church beginning at 10 am, to reflect upon the crucifixion of our Saviour Jesus Christ.

On Easter Sunday 8th April the annual Sunrise service will be held at 6 am on Winchelsea Beach (at the end of Dogs Hill Road) to celebrate the Lord’s resurrection. This will be followed by breakfast at St Richard’s Church and then at 9.15 am the Parish Eucharist with hymns and Renewal of Baptismal Vows will take place.

A Table Sale will be held in the Community Hall this Easter weekend, on Saturday 7th April at 2 pm. If you would like to book a table and also contribute items for the tombola and cake sale please ring 01797 224820.

Icklesham Parish Council is meeting in the Community Hall at 7.15 pm on Tuesday 10th April. The Council meeting will be preceded by the Planning Committee and members of the public are welcome to sit and listen.
