Each window is lit from 4pm - 10pm daily. The first window was revealed on Monday December 1 and a new window will go on display every day up until Christmas Eve.

People will be able to view the windows until New Year’s Eve.

Maps and details of the window displays are available in the town from the New Inn or Winchelsea Farm Kitchen.

Those admiring the displays are asked to donate at least £1 toward funds for the Friends of Rye Hospital.

Children from St Thomas’ Primary School in Winchelsea have contributed to creating the window displays.

When walking around the town, you may find it useful to carry a small torch to help you read the map.

Please remember to supervise any children or dogs with you. Keep to the footpaths wherever possible, as there is still traffic passing through the town in the evenings.

Winchelsea residents wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope that they will enjoy their Advent Windows.
