Windmill Cinema in Littlehampton to reopen in January

THE Windmill is to screen films in January, after a deal was signed to bring a cinema back to Littlehampton nearly a year after it closed.

Inspire Leisure, which runs the cinema and Arun’s leisure facilities, has agreed a deal with mobile cinema company CineMobile to start screening films by the end of January.

CineMobile is now in the process of putting together a programme of films, but it is understood the company will screen a mixture of new releases, art house films, and live screenings of operas, musicals and sporting events.

The cinema will be open at first between three to four days a week and will be largely staffed by volunteers from The Windmill Cinema Supporters Group.
