Woman assaulted in Bognor Regis park

A WOMAN was sexually assaulted as she walked home in Bognor Regis.

Sussex Police are anxious to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident on Monday (October 29).

The 24-year-old victim, who lives locally, was walking through Hotham Park at about 12.20am when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and made suggestive comments.

The victim managed to break free from him and run away, before reporting the incident to police.

A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “Although the victim was not physically injured she was nonetheless left very scared and upset by what happened.

“The man who attacked her is described as white, 6ft tall, of large build, with dark hair and a tanned complexion. He wore a short black jacket, blue jeans and a blue jumper.”

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact police on 101, quoting serial 0703 of 29 October.
