Woman breaks leg in Horsham incident

Police area appealing for witnesses after a cyclist broke her leg in an incident in Horsham last week.

The cyclist, a 52-year-old woman from Horsham, was cycling at the junction of Depot Road and Ayshe Court Drive at around 4.10pm on Thursday May 7 when she fell from her bike as a small blue car turned across her path.

The woman suffered a double break to the leg and had to undergo surgery.

PC Robin Elshof said: “We would like to speak to anyone who was in Depot Road or the area around it and who saw the cyclist being injured.

“If you saw anything at all, please contact us.”
