Woman freed from Rustington car crash

A WOMAN had to be rescued from her car following a car crash this afternoon (Saturday, March 20) in Rustington.

Three people were injured in the single vehicle crash which happened in The Street at 3.30pm.

Fire crews from East Preston and Littlehampton, as well as a heavy rescue tender from Worthing, attended the scene and helped free the trapped woman.

The two other people were released from the car before the fire crews got there.

All three were rushed to hospital.
