Woman ‘hit by car’ outside Horsham railway station

Police are investigating after a woman is thought to have been struck by a car outside Horsham railway station late last night (Saturday, August 1).

The extent of the woman’s injuries are currently unknown after she was taken to hospital following the incident, which happened on North Street after 11pm.

Confirming the incident, a Sussex Police spokeswoman said: “The female was taken by ambulance so her injuries are unknown to us. Inquiries are on-going.”
