Woman rescued in Bognor house fire
An elderly woman has been rescued from a late-night house fire in Bognor Regis.
The disabled victim was trapped in her bedroom as flames took hold in the kitchen of the first floor flat in Berrymill Close last night (Monday, February 18).
Her quick-think grand daughter raised the alarm and kept her safe until she was helped to safety unharmed by firecrews just after 11pm.
An investigation into the cause is being done by fire officers.
