WOMAN VICTIM OF ATTEMPTED MUGGING

In particular they wish to speak to four youths who were in the area of Joff Youth Centre at the time of the offence.

They also want to talk to a woman who passed the victim in the Southview Road Area.

A 39 year old woman was walking home and was by the Annex shop in Roderick Avenue when she believed she was being followed. She got to Arundel Road and a man approached from behind and demanded her handbag. In a struggle he ran off emptyhanded.

The woman is not injured but is shaken by the incident. The man is believed to be about 6ft and was dressed in dark clothing.
