A DURRINGTON woman with multiple sclerosis climbed part of the Great Wall of China on her hands and knees to raise money for her church.

Jane Scott (60) is in a wheelchair but, with the help of her husband, Winston, climbed the Juyong Pass near Beijing, raising more than 700 for St Symphorian's Parish Chur-ch in Durrington

.

Mrs Scott said it was something she had always wanted to do, adding that her condition had deteriorated over the years.

But she added that the Parish of Durrington Restor-ation Appeal desperately needed money for a new roof and refurbishment of the church and hall.
