Woman's teeth broken in unprovoked attack in Bexhill

The victim, a local woman in her 40s, was walking along Herbrand Walk, Bexhill, when she went to the aid of another woman who was being shouted at by a man.
The man responded by punching her in the face several times.

Hide AdShe was taken to hospital for treatment for broken teeth and substantial bruising and swelling.
The incident occurred between 8pm and 8.40pm on Wednesday (June 22).
The suspect is described as a white man, aged 25-30, about 5’6” to 5’10”, of stocky build with short mousey brown hair.
At the time of the attack he was wearing a navy blue polo shirt with a logo similar to the England football emblem.

Hide AdThe suspect and a woman were seen to drive off in a white Luton lorry with a tail lift in the direction of Eastbourne.
PC Joanna Cooper from Sussex Police said: “This was a serious unprovoked attack on a lone woman after she tried to come to the aid of another woman.
“I would urge anyone with any information to come forward.”
