Girlz-What was formed in 2012 to provide local young women with a forum for developing their self respect and exploring opportunities for personal development using the arts.

It is specifically targeting young women who could be vulnerable to exploitation, by seeking to raise their sights towards education and life skills.

Hastings MP Amber Rudd, who attended the launch, said: “This is a really important local initiative. Young women can find themselves in a spiral of difficulties and Respond Academy helps to show them what alternatives there are and how everyone can make choices about their lives.”
