Worthing 20mph drop in sessions announced

WORTHING residents who want to find out more about the 20mph speed limit proposal for the town are being invited to a number of drop in sessions over the next few weeks.

Officers from West Sussex County Council are hosting the drop in events and are inviting residents, businesses and community groups who might want to discuss the plans or find out more to pop along.

They will be held at St Paul’s Café, in Chapel Road, on Friday, May 9 between 9am and 11am, Tesco in New Road, Durrington on the same day between 2pm and 4pm and Splashpoint, in Brighton Road, on Friday, May 16 between 2pm and 4pm.

These sessions are in addition to the public information event at the Lecture Theatre at Worthing Library which is being held on Tuesday, May 27 from 6pm to 7.30pm.

Capacity at this venue is restricted and attendance is on a ticket only basis, with tickets available at Worthing Library from Tuesday, May 6.

Tickets are limited to two per person.
