Worthing and Chichester court results

THE FOLLOWING are court results for Chichester and Worthing magistrates’ courts from September 7 to 11.

Duncan Till, 39, of Westlands, Rustington, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after being found guilty of using threatening words or behaviour in Rustington on July 1, 2014. He must pay £60 victim surcharge and £300 costs. He was also found guilty of assault by beating, no separate penalty and no compensation as no physical injury.

Talwo Broadhurst, 48, of Lyminster Road, Lyminster, was fined £200 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £750 costs, after being found guilty of driving without due care and attention in Lyminster Road, Littlehampton, on October 21, 2014. Her driving record was endorsed with four points.

Hamed Abdi, 22, of South Terrace, Littlehampton, was fined £25 after admitting driving without a licence in Irvine Road, Littlehampton, on March 5, 2015. He was also fined £100 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Piotr Bakowski, 55, of Canada Grove, Bognor Regis, was discharged conditionally for 12 months after admitting stealing drinks worth £5 from Tesco, Bognor Regis, on August 8, 2015. He must pay £15 victim surcharge, £85 costs and £150 criminal courts charge.

Mohammad Mangal, 19, of Offington Lane, Worthing, was fined £110 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (62mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Gorse Avenue, Worthing, on August 21, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 17 months. He was also fined £110 after admitting driving without insurance. He admitted breaching a conditional discharge, no action taken.

Warren Winton, 51, of Yewtree Close, Lancing, was given a community order and must carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work after admitting possessing cocaine, crack cocaine and heroin in Newland Road, Worthing, on March 20, 2015. He must pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He also admitting possessing a weapon designed to discharge CS gas in Yewtree Close, Lancing, on March 21, 2015. He was fined £130 for driving a vehicle with faulty tyres in Newland Road, Worthing, on March 20, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with three points.

Zsolt Demeter, 26, of Heatherlie, Sea Place, Goring, was fined £400 and must pay £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (67mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Montague Place, Worthing, on July 18, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Peter Russell, 26, of Poulters Lane, Worthing, was fined £400 and must pay £40 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (70mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath) in Poulters Lane, Worthing, on August 21, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 18 months.

Joe Fowler, 19, of Bramble Close, Durrington, was fined £150 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without due care and attention in New Road, Durrington, on February 28, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

Vincent Jones, 37, of Fitzalan Road, Arundel, was fined £110 and must pay £33 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, for driving a large goods vehicle over the 60mph speed limit on the A465 Merthyr Tydfil on May 11, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with three points. He was also fined £110 and his driving record was endorsed with four points for driving a large goods vehicle over the 60mph speed limit on the A465 Merthyr Tydfil on May 12, 2015. Chloe Page, 32, of Becket Court, Rectory Road, Worthing, was fined £70 after admitting failing to stop at a red light in South Farm Road, Worthing, on February 16, 2015. She was also fined £200 and must pay £27 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving without insurance. Her driving record was endorsed with six points. She also admitted driving a car without an MOT certificate, no separate penalty.

Henry Saunders, 26, of Shelley Road, Worthing, was fined £300 and must pay £30 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting driving without insurance in Brighton Road, Shoreham, on May 27, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Daniel Brown, 37, of St Catherine’s Road, Littlehampton, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after being found guilty of driving without insurance in Flansham Lane, Bognor Regis, on November 7, 2014. He was disqualified from driving for six months.

James Dye, 25, of Queen Street, Littlehampton, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after being found guilty of driving without insurance in New Road, Rustington, on April 24, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Keri-Jane Evans, 28, of William Morris Court, Angola Road, Broadwater, was fined £295 and must pay £29 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting driving without insurance in Sackville Road, Worthing, on May 22, 2015. She also admitted driving without a licence, no separate penalty. Her driving record was endorsed with six points.

Jarrod Hopley, 45, of North End Road, Yapton, was fined £75 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 30mph speed limit in Brighton Road, Lancing, on August 16, 2014. His driving record was endorsed with four points.

Mark Bauermeister, 25, of Church Green, Shoreham, was fined £600 and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after being found guilty of failing to identify a driver when required by police in Shoreham on July 27, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Daniel Brayfield, 19, of Convent Gardens, Findon, was fined £135 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting driving over 70mph on the A24 Washington on May 21, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

Christopher Buckland, 25, of Clifton Road, Littlehampton, was fined £50 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting driving without insurance in Half Moon Lane, Worthing, on May 3, 2015. His driving record was endorsed with six points.

Julie Green, 28, of Withy Patch Caravan Park, Old Shoreham Road, Lancing, was given a community order and must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £180 criminal courts charge, after admitting stealing power tools worth £740 from B&Q, Shoreham, on July 24, 2015. She admitted breaching a conditional discharge, no action taken.

Alan Pantry, 46, of West Street, Sompting, was fined £200 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge, after admitting drink-driving (145mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood) in Brighton Road, Shoreham, on August 8, 2015. He was disqualified from driving for 19 months.

Kieran Sweeney, 24, of Antonia Court, Terminus Road, Littlehampton, was given a community order and a restraining order after admitting assault by beating on August 26, 2015. He must pay £60 victim surcharge, £85 costs, £150 criminal courts charge.

Henry Ratcliffe, 49, of Parsons Walk, Walberton, was fined £180 and must pay £20 victim surcharge, £85 costs, after admitting driving over the 60mph speed limit (86mph) on the A27 Worthing on October 30, 2014. His driving record was endorsed with five points.

Aileen Beckett, 31, of Pavilion Road, Worthing, was fined £140 and given a restraining order after admitting harassment. She must pay £20 victim surcharge, £135 costs.
