The workers involved at Star Convenience Store and at Mini Market were given £90 fixed penalty notices.

Officers are investigating what action should be taken against the member of staff at News Corner.

Sergeant Mike Balmer said: “Even though three premises failed, I am pleased that eight premises have prevented the sale of alcohol to the volunteer by adhering to the mandatory condition, that they must request photographic proof of the buyer’s age.”

“If you have any information about children purchasing alcohol contact the licensing team on 101 extension 581447 or email [email protected].”

The same thing happened at Grande Wines in Middleton Road, Bognor Regis, at Sibels Mini Market in Hawthorne Road, Bognor Regis, and One Stop in Durston Drive, Bognor Regis, as well as Local Offie in Wick Street, Wick.
