Worthing driver seriously injured in Rustington crash

A WORTHING driver suffered a serious head injury in a crash at Rustington this morning (Monday, June 1).

The 26-year-old man was driving northwards along Ash Lane when his black Vauxhall Astra collided with a tree and a lamp post at the junction with Woodlands Avenue at about 9.50am.

was flown to St George’s Hospital in London.

The road has been closed between the junctions with The Street and the Mill Lane roundabout, but is expected to be reopened at about 12.30pm.
