The arrest followed an appeal for witnesses from Sussex Police after an incident in St Lawrence Avenue, Worthing, shortly after 3.30am this morning.

Sussex Police said a wall outside one house had been damaged, as had the front door of another property, while an empty Vauxhall was found in the road by officers with the engine still running.
