A public meeting will be held to update residents on progress of plans to improve the A27 on Friday (October 28).

The Worthing and Adur A27 Working Group, chaired by councillor Tom Wye, has arranged the meeting to inform residents of Highways England’s latest plans.

It is expected to include a presentation from the highways authority.

Mr Wye said: “Please come along and hear, first hand, what Highways England is planning.

“The A27 is an important road for all who live in Worthing and Adur and this public meeting will give you an opportunity to form an educated opinion prior to the consultation which is due to take place during 2017.”

The meeting will be held at Worthing Pavilion from 7pm.
