Worthing Race for Life 2011

WORTHING will be hosting its own Race for Life this summer, after local support convinced organisers Cancer Reseach UK to reinstate the event.

The 5k women-only event was held at Worthing Rugby Club, Angmering, in 2007 and 2008.

But last year, the charity decided to join up the smaller events and the closest event was at Fontwell.

The Worthing Race for Life will take place along the seafront, starting from Steyne Gardens, on Sunday, July 10.
