A volunteer publicity officer is needed to help raise the awareness of Samaritans in the Worthing area
Worthing Samaritans is looking for a volunteer publicity officer ahead of the charity's 50th anniversary next year.

Anyone interested in applying should have knowledge and experience of publicity, social media and marketing.

The post includes recruiting volunteers, raising funds and developing caller awareness.

Director Liz Riach said: “The role of volunteer publicity officer is to raise the awareness of Samaritans in the local community.

“This is particularly important as, in 2019, Worthing Samaritans will celebrate the 50th anniversary of our service.

“We have lots of ideas planned and would love some expertise to help us publicise this.”
