Would-be thieves target two shops
THE Oxfam charity shop in Western Road suffered a break-in overnight on Easter Sunday, April 24/25, when an intruder smashed a rear window to get in. Police attended, together with a scenes-of-crime officer, and the incident is under investigation. It is not known if anything was stolen.
Between 5pm on Saturday, April 23 and 11am the next day, the shop window at Time Warp in Sackville Road, Bexhill, was smashed, possibly by an offender kicking it in.
